Poppy Implementations

Projects putting the Personal Agent Protocol into practice. Each listing names its draft version, describes the flows it covers and records the limits its authors disclose. A demo does not establish protocol conformance.

Draft 0.1 is public. Sierra has announced a reference implementation, but none is public yet. Until then, this directory tracks community SDKs, clients and demos, along with partner demos.Read the draft →Track the official reference implementation →

Community demoDraft 0.1

Poppy on Cloudflare Workers

A two-Worker demo with a personal agent and a fictional retailer. Ask to exchange order #1042; the agent requests account access and pauses for the customer to approve read/write permissions.

What it covers

  • Discovery and OAuth client authentication
  • Signed-out and signed-in sessions, DPoP, renewal and revocation
  • Poppy conversations and scoped OpenAPI order/exchange calls

Known limits

  • The order exchange is simulated; no purchase, charge or shipment occurs.
  • The author describes it as a focused interoperability demo, not a full conformance suite.
  • MCP, A2A, mediated and device authorization, and browser-session exchange are not implemented.
Community SDKDraft 0.1

Datalayer Personal Agent Protocol SDKs

Python and TypeScript SDKs for building both sides of a Poppy exchange: the personal agent and the company agent.

What it covers

  • Discovery, sessions and sign-in against draft 0.1
  • Personal agent talking to a company agent on a person’s behalf

Known limits

  • Published October 10, 2026; very new and not independently tested by poppy.md.
  • Not an official reference implementation and not a conformance claim.
Community clientDraft 0.1

pi-poppy

The personal-agent side of Poppy as a package for the pi coding agent: discovery, signed-out session, sign-in, company APIs and conversations with a company agent.

What it covers

  • The author maps each MUST, SHOULD and MAY in the spec, extensions and guides pages to an implementation checklist.
  • Tests include a company-side peer.

Known limits

  • The checklist is the author’s own reading of the draft; the author notes there is no JSON Schema, official conformance suite or reference implementation to test against.
  • Payments, push notifications and attachments are out of scope (open topics in the draft).

Personal Agent Protocol quick start (Cobus Greyling)

A standard-library Python model of a visit to a sample shop: discover, open a guest session, ask about an order, get a write grant and change a delivery address.

What it covers

  • Guest session followed by an OAuth-style write grant in the same session
  • A bearer-token PATCH to change the order

Known limits

  • Pre-draft: it predates draft 0.1 and uses a different discovery path (/.well-known/personal-agent.json) and field names. Treat it as an illustration, not a draft 0.1 implementation.
Partner demo (video)Not stated

Muse with Redfin and Rocket agents

In a live demo, Rocket’s Alex McGillis shows Muse working with the Redfin and Rocket company agents to find homes in Michigan and get a user pre-approved for a mortgage. Bret Taylor says Poppy governs the connection.

What it covers

  • Personal agent (Muse) talking to company agents
  • Sierra and Bret Taylor describe the flow as using Poppy for discovery and authentication

Known limits

  • Video only; no public code or endpoints.
  • The video does not identify the spec version or provide technical evidence of the flows.

How listings are selected

We include projects with public code or a demo and enough documentation to describe the Poppy version, demonstrated flows and known limitations. Each listing states its relationship to the protocol. Partner status alone does not establish that an integration exists.
