# About poppy.md

poppy.md is an independent site that tracks the Personal Agent Protocol. It isn't run by Sierra, Meta or any Poppy partner, and nobody involved in Poppy has reviewed it.

We started it the day Poppy was announced, before a specification was available. Sierra and Meta published draft 0.1 on October 9, 2026. We now track the draft and distinguish its published details from the areas it leaves open.

## How we work

- **Sources first.** Every page lists its sources, including the official draft where relevant.
- **Dated.** Each page shows when we last checked it against those sources.
- **No invented details.** We link to the draft for its endpoint paths, scopes, token rules and license, and label anything it leaves open.
- **Opinions are labelled.** When we give our own read, the text says so.
- **Changes are logged** on the [status page](/status) and in the [RSS feed](/updates.xml).
